Rashmi Juneja, MD

Dr. Juneja attended Gandhi Medical College in Bhopal, India and is a board certified internal medicine specialist. She completed her residency at State University of New York at Buffalo in New York. She is highly trained and subspecializes in cardiovascular diseases, GI, endocrinology, and women’s health. She has been practicing in West Michigan since 1999.

Harpreet Singh, MD

Dr. Singh studied at Sacred Heart Convent School and Arya College for his undergraduate degree. He received his medical degree from Kasturba Medical College in India. Dr. Singh completed his residency at Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids, MI and is board certified in Internal Medicine. Harpreet is fluent in English, Punjabi and Hindi.

Catherine Balanda, FNP-C, BSN

Catherine has over 20 years experience and attended nursing school at Nazareth College in Michigan and received her Masters of Nursing from Michigan State University. Her areas of expertise include internal medicine and pain management. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Michigan Council of Nurse Practitioners.

Neil Goodman, DO

Neil Goodman, DO

Dr. Goodman completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan and received his medical degree from Michigan State University. He fulfilled his residency in Family Medicine. Dr. Goodman is also the coordinator/speaker for Health Recovery Program.

Dr. Davis graduated from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is board certified in Family Practice. Dr. Davis has worked in the Big Rapids area for 38 years with a special interest in natural medicine.

Phyllis Boone, NP

Phyllis has been a Nurse Practitioner since receiving her MSN from Grand Valley State University in 2010.  Phyllis enjoys helping her patients live optimally despite the confines of illness. Phyllis specializes in caring for patients from early adulthood to their senior years.

Lyni Nowak, FNPLyni Nowak, FNP

Lyni is a Family Nurse Practitioner who has been practicing for forty-one years, 22 of those years as a nurse practitioner. She graduated from Hackley Hospital School of Nursing as a diploma nurse and has completed her Masters of Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner from Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Virginia. She holds multiple board certifications and has practiced integrative/alternative, cancer care, internal medicine family practice, urgent/emergency care and case management across the life span. Her interests are integrative care, prevention and health maintenance. In 2018 she transitioned from cancer care to internal medicine by joining Michigan Primary Care Partners Canadian Lakes office. She is accepting new patients.

Karen Leiter, FNP

Karen has 30 years of experience in nursing, and says the thing she enjoys most about being a Family Nurse Practitioner is having the ability to work in such a diverse, rural community caring for people in all life stages. Karen attended nursing school at West Shore Community College and Ferris State University. She received her Masters in Nursing from Michigan State University.

Nicky Synman, PT

Nicky Snyman, PT

Nicky has been with Michigan Primary Care Partners  since 2003. She graduated from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy in 1991. Nicky completed a two year clinical masters through the Ola Grimsby Institute, and received her Masters of Orthopedic Manual Therapy Degree in 1997. Nicky later obtained her Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, MI, making her one of the highest qualified Physical Therapists in the Big  Rapids area.  Nicky’s expertise includes woking with aquatic therapy patients using the therapeutic pool at  Michigan Primary Care Partners, which offers one of the only underwater treadmills in the area.  Nicky utilizes a very personal approach to manual therapy and patient care. She performs all evaluations and follow up treatments personally to ensure excellent quality of care.
