DOT Exams now offered to general public
Michigan Primary Care Partners now offers DOT Physicals at our Big Rapids and Reed City, Michigan locations. A Department of Transportation (DOT) Exam is required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) for all individuals who operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle to make sure they are physically, mentally and emotionally fit to perform the job.
Michigan Primary Care Partners follows the DOT “Best Practices” approach to maximize the safety of the driver and others that share the road.
The exam covers the following to comply with Michigan Department of Transportation guidelines:
- Health history
- Vision screening
- Hearing screening
- Blood pressure and pulse rate
- Urinalysis
- Physical examination
Established MPCP patients, and the general public, may schedule a DOT exam by calling, texting, or emailing our office. Call (231) 592-1360 for details or visit our Contact Us Page.
